I know it will seem like forever until he gets home!

I'm so excited!!!
I am glad you recieved them. But.... I just found out the star pattern (the long triangles) are wrong. The site gave wrong dimensions. Go to North Star Pictures and read the end of page one. Patrice gives the correct dimensions so you can just measure with a ruler, or just ask her. I did not know they were wrong untill today, and could'nt figure why I could not get it together when everything else sewed up fine. Don't forget to post pics.

Oh and I don't know if any one else does this, but I trace the lines (not the side lines that give the seam allowance) onto the other side of the paper so I don't have to hold it up to the light to see if I placed it wrong. Just makes it a little easier. :D

Yes I read Patrice's measurements and made sure to take care when I cut them. so far it's going pretty good! I've only ripped one seam so far. ;)

Those are great Patrice, It's a genius you is, I never thought of using the same fabric either side of the center strip to eliminate the waste, brilliant girlfriend :P

Melissa - how about the public library for printing or a Kinko's perhaps? They both have computers available for use to the public.. good luck.. it indeed is a gorgeous block...
