    When I saw this pattern and went to the second page of the instructions, I thought of my son. When put together in the instructions it sort of looks like a window box. My son has three colors that he favors.......black, green and brown. I was thinking of doing this with those three colors. The background black and using light and dark shads of the green and brown. Once I get the fabrics picked out I will make one and post a picture.

    It is such a simple pattern, but the ending results are amazing.

    Thank you Ruth. The beige squares have gold shiny specks in them, wish it would have shown up in the picture.

    Had some of that fabric left over from a quilt I made my husband for our Anniversary 2 years ago.
