Hello everyone! I'm new to your board and have been reading about all the comings and goings aboard the train. Unfortunately, I'm not able to participate in this mystery quilt but I am enjoying watching everyone's quilts coming together. I am currently working on a quilt for my brother and SIL that is huge! I do have one question though. How often does this train run? I'd love to jump aboard the next one.

paintmejudy is the creator behind this mystery quilt train. i am not sure how often she is planning these quilt trips. this current trip will end at step 7 (per her earlier post) and i havent seen anything posted if she is planning a next project. but as fun as these trips are, i am sure she has more planned.

Sauki, I have been trying to talk Judy into a different kind of ride for the next trip. I have put on a little weight in the club car these last two rides. So many goodies. I thought maybe a bicycle trip through the wine country in CA. We could stop at all the wineries and LQSs. Maybe stay at some B&Bs. Or we could take a paddle boat down the Mississippi. Play a little poker between stops. Do a cattle drive in Texas and stay at some ranches where they have some electricity for our sewing machines. OH OH OH...We could follow the Oregon Trail. Anybody else have a suggestion for our next trip? White Water raft down the Colorodo?

IDK PokerDiva Im still waiting for one of them gorgeous train robbers to pay a visit to our mystery train. You know the ones like in the romance novels.. where the men are so handsome you don't even mind being robbed.

However; the paddle boat down the Mississippi sounds like a really fun mystery trip also. I don't think my hip would hold up to a bicycle trip .

thinking bicycle trip would require handpiecing.....doll quilt maybe......

whitewaterrafting...not with my stash................think of the hours of pressing......

I really love trains, always have, always ........have a little 'N' gauge in the sewing room.....

LOL the add on the bottom of the page is the toy train...Thomas LOL

Still 'auditioning' arrangements of the rectangles for this clue....overthinking a bit, I guess.

Jenniky, I never thought about the train robbers. Hmmmm. You are right. My DH loves westerns. One of our dogs is named Jesse James. After the outlaw not the dirty dog who was married to Sandra Bullock.

The Romance of the West... Now rumor has it that on our next clue stop the engineer was going to add on a casino car. It probably would only have a few friendly tables for poker and maybe five of those really old fashion slot machines altered so it only plays with token buttons. Not the animated video types out there today.. Just a few reels and hopefully lots of luck. We could play poker for FQ's. I will see your flower print and raise you a Paisley...
