Love all the new postings and the colors being used. BUT I'll need to be dropped at the next station to get one of those purple thingys quilters (and others, I suppose) use on their chairs. They're circular, but I've forgotten the name, so I can't look for one on the internet. Do any of you know what thery're called? Sure hope they're worth the money, cuz my back is out and I really want to sew!

I finally sewed the 12 + 2 rectangles but did not set the seams with the iron because still may want to change the order they are in....not sure why so indecisive on this.

Coopah, I know the purple seat cushion you are talking about but be sure to try one first....I tried one and it about threw me out of the chair.

Thanks for the input about my guess. I do realize that I am missing a few pieces......lol. I love the patriotic one and the scrappy one. Just beautiful. I can't get the color of my quilt to really come out. What you don't see is that there is a hint of turquoise or teal blue that just doesn't show up. The lime green just outshouts everything else. But I like how vivacious it is. Well back to reorganizing the squares into something else. LOL.

Sunliten, I had no idea those purple sit-upon thingies could throw one out of a chair! Sheesh! There goes that plan...no one here sells them, so can't try it out first. Bummer, bummer, bummer. I ate breakfast standing up.

Nancia, I took Aleve (didn't know there was a generic) to sleep last night and will do so for today and tonight. There are shots for this? Maybe I'll break down and go see my doctor. She usually prescribes a cream (for any ailment...it's always a cream), so I try to stay away. BTW: What's this about playing with men? Men are playful? Hmmm...my mama didn't teach me that. Guess I could think about that today to ease the pain!!

I think water aerobics are out for tonight.

I love leaves also...can you tell.....have an extreeme amount of leaves, pine needles, etc. in my stash and they have a knack for finding a way into almost every quilt. If you saw the avatar quilt up close you would see the leaves, that is what my two tallest friends are giggiling about when they were holding it up for me to take the picture.

LindaC, I hope you were able to get a photo of the hands. I didn't take one and I just now read the post about it. I love, love, love your country! The land, the water and where the 2 meet, the mountains, the castles, the people, the sheep, the food....I could go on and on!
Hopefully tomorrow I will get some pictures posted of the quilt show and of my tour around the country. I printed off the latest instructions. Now I need to get to work on step 3 and 4. To add to that I took 2 classes at the quilt show so I also have a Monet type wallhanging and a wool bag to finish. Hmmm....how to prioritize. I am caught up on my email, phone messages and The Bachelorette. Now to catch up on my sleep. I'm soooooo tired!
Be sure to try the Irish chocolates I left for everyone.
Welcome back Pam and Everose.... we will have to have a few glasses of wine and you can share your adventures with us. I would love to visit Ireland and see the castles also. The Irish chocolates are fabulous thanks for bringing some back for us. I will have to run up and down the spiraling stairs in the observation car a few times to work off the pounds.. the exercise car mysteriously detached itself from the train so I will have to improvise. LOL . Everose your snowmen are awesome and we need to get you one of those harmless traps for your one bunny and after he/she is caught move it a great distance away to a field where it can find happiness and some bunny buddies.

Urgodschild2 interesting combination you came up with

Coopah- I have a lot of back pain and hip pain that I deal with daily. Warm moist heat is the best thing that I have found and lots of stretching..slow and steady to keep from stiffing up. I take a prescribed pain medication however the other things I do stretching and moist heat help so I dont have to take as much pain medication.
All the pictures of the quilt block contest are posted in the Contest and Challenges section of the board. Don't forget to check them out and send your votes into Patrice.

Have a wonderful day ladies will check in later this evening and enjoy refreshments in the club car.
