You can't beat that - chocolate and strawberries. The raspberries just started also. So will pick some from the garden and bring them along.

Working a UFO for a SIL that I started a number of years ago. Today was the ripping and tomorrow I will start putting it back together. I am a better quilter now than before! Lucy is keeping me to the 1/4 inch seams.

It's storming here at the moment.... so gloomy and dark. Think Im more in a planning mood then creating..so Im going to pull out fabrics and play these fabrics go together and these do not. LOL Im sure somehow I could put that to the Sesame Street Matching song. Time for a nice hot cup of relaxing tea.

I finally finished! It helps to be home for a weekend. I did a lot of traveling during this mystery train ride.
I decided on the yellow for the sashing but then put a white flange to separate it from the border. Of course I had 2 sides of the border sewn on before I remembered that's what I wanted to do. My little seam ripper and I are best buds after this little adventure.
Thanks for letting my ride along. I can't wait for the next one!
Now how do you quilt those feathers? LOL

Default Mystery finished

Finally got it quilted and the binding on. What a fun ride this has been. This little topper has a home on the table in my enclosed patio deck.

Thank you, I really didn't think I was going to like it, had thought too much beige, but after it was done with the multi colored quilting thread, I like it after all. Looks great in the room

jaba, you just helped me decide on how to quilt my topper. You did a wonderful job. I have had mine pinned for weeks now, keep looking at and wondering what to do, and the all over meander is perfect! Love the way yours turned out. Mine, too, is a table cloth, for a round table. Now, I am anxious to start.
