I finished my 2 blocks for July but I can't post the pix on my DH laptop. I am waiting for my computer repair man again. My computer worked for 3 days, I ran a scan with Malwarebytes on my computer and it crashed again. Ah, the joys of modern electronic devices. I love to sew on my Singer 301. It purrs like a kitten and it never needs an upgrade.

Happy and Sad day all at once kind of bitter sweet. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks to all for the prayers for sure they're appreciated.
Well, still haven't done any sewing yet, just can't get in the mood to do so. But just look at all the wonderful blocks being made. I love looking at them.

Lv2sew and pndnana, my heart is out to both of you. A new life to look forward to but the loss of others. I was in the same place as both of you when my Father passed away but he always told me he had no regrets and had lived the fullest life he could. He was ready to go to his other life, sure didn't make it any easier for me but does it ever for any of us? But he told me to do the things that I enjoyed and think of him smiling down at me because I was doing it. I do the sewing and quilting and think of him often, sometimes even cry, then I laugh at myself....knowing I am going on with what makes me happy and him also. I truly hope your pain subsides and you both will keep those happy thoughts with you.

I finally got my computer up and running and I upgraded to Windows 10. I have had a terrible time trying to resize and upload the photos of my 2 blocks for July. I finished them last week but today was the first time I finally figured everything out. I cut out a block for February and I hope to be able to make 2 blocks a week until I get caught up.
