Ladies I am so behind on this Bee still need to do Feb.'s and March's. Hope to get caught up this weekend. Been making quilts for my Church to give to those in the hospital. I have made 15 lap quilts in the past 6 weeks now to do a little for me. Than back to making for them again.

At last, at last, have one block done, and one to sew, it all cut out. Will post pictures tonight with any luck. Everyone has done such beautiful work.

I went so wrong in cutting out the pieces this time. I messed it up pretty bad so I made due with what I ended up with. I'm a newbie so it's all good practice for me.

LOL, Knitter66, we've all been there at one time or another...Glad at least you got a block done. Maybe April's will be a little easier to understand. Practice makes perfect. Your points look great, it's a pretty block. Ya just gotta stick with it.

I just found this thread and I am going to give this a try. I have been unable to quilt for the last 2-3 years due to medical issues, but I am having surgery on the 12th and I am so excited to get back to quilting that I am starting early, lol. I have just finished cutting the pieces for one of the March blocks and will hopefully have it posted here soon. This sounds like it is a lot of fun and I know that I will learn a lot as I have only done very simple blocks before. Looking forward to learning and getting to know you amazing quilters!

I finished one of the March blocks. I have never pieced a block with such small pieces before... was difficult. The result is far from perfect, but my points line up fairly decently. I am using a couple of layer cakes from CT.

Oh, no one told you there is no such word as perfect in quilting, nor police either. Enjoy, that is what counts. And there is no worse critic than yourself. Looks really good to me, I would have no complaints if it were my block.

Well, I did it, I can't believe it, last day, practically last hour, but I got my two blocks done. Now I can look for the new ones tomorrow. Hope this month isn't as bad for me, but whatever, will deal with what I have to and have fun with the rest of it.
