Belfrybat, I love the red with the yellow/gold. It really makes it bright.

Annt59- Love your colors! Very Christmasy looking.

Belfrybat- love your scrappy version! At the end of all of this, I may have to try a scrappy version too.

I too love the scrappy look. I could never turn a scrappy down. they are so pretty.
I may have to make a scrappy, but need to hold on to what i have (like i don't have enough) for the next mystery

I used a new Ruler that I purchased a month or so ago for my Flying Geese. It is called a Folded Corner Clipper. Here is a video on the ruler www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjD3AKiSyPw. Hope that link works, if not just Google Folded Corner Clipper. I think it works beautifully! This is what the ruler looks like:

LOL I skip reading one day and the place explodes. Glad to see things are rolling right along! These blocks are coming out so beautiful. Beef stew in the club car tonight.

Bel-Bat, those scrappies are really beautiful! I think I like how those colors are coming together as they look kinda old fashioned.
Lynnie, glad to see you back. Take a rest!

I cannot afford any new toys, but it does look like an awesome ruler and does several things instead of just one.

Will make that up as I go along. Now to finish sewing the stars for the "right" version, and finishing the scrappy ones before Saturday. Whew!

BTW, I dropped of quesadilla and chips in the club car. Enjoy. I'll bring some Sangria later after the sun is over the yardarm.

Beautiful blocks! Red is my favorite color.

I just got caught up reading through the list and all I can say is WOW! I hve enjoyed seeing everyones fabric choices and their blocks. There are so many pretty ones and as others have said I can't wait to see the finished quilts. I have not started sewing yet, but I am hoping to be all caught up by the end of next week. I have a couple projects I have to get done before I can give this my attention, but I am anxious to get started. Will share as soon as I get started.
