how much stash can you store in an empty turned off, cleaned out freezer.......inquiring minds want to know

I am just saying it already has its floorspace and it is way to heavy to move.

Judy or anyone else, have you ever done the tiddlywinks pattern with the dark and light reversed?? I'm going to tear up a couple sheets of colored paper and try it to see what it does. (because I can't find my paper scissors I did say tear) I have a white with red hearts and a black with red/white coffee cups I so want to cut. Thanks Retta, in beautiful sunny cool Florida and may I say perfect, perfect.

Chefbwarner...more fabric than paper here....go for it in fabric....there is so much you can do with this block (ok, I have been playing with it) it can point in different directions or four can point into each other ...and that makes a secondary pattern.....and they can swarm around a center, etc.

Sunlitensmiles, thanks. I did have some scraps left from the one I did so just placed them over the blocks. Will reverse the dark and light and then play. I love this pattern

I Have already done an analysis and calculated that a shelving unit to hold totes of stash would be the best use of the space. I would fear that like all chest freezers, stuff migrates to the bottom where only the foolhardy go!

Can't think of anyone else on this thread that would come up with that. Way to go! Maybe you could tip it on its side, remove the door and screw some shelves into the sides after all, not good for anything else anymore!

I've done my big stars, after a fashion. I've had them all laid out on the floor and come to the conclusion that we are doing the front and back of a small quilt. I know it's wrong but am baffled! On a side note we've got a tumble dryer stood empty that I never thought of hiding new stuff in. I've missed a trick there!
