Now if could just get off my but and do something
I'm at work, but sometimes have a lot of down time, so today I brought a curtain I am working on. It is 3 inch and 1 inch squares out of upholstery fabric sewn and glued to make an illusion of a 3D globe. I brought to glueing to work since the sewing is so cumbersome right now.

The border reminds me of row houses, kinda like brownstones "gone wild". lol Anyway a very bright and pretty quilt.

Oh, how pretty!! It's amazing how each & every Mystery Quilt, this time, has turned out in it's own beauty. I am still putting mine together, but hopefully will have a picture soon. Keep up the good work everyone.

Work has taken over my life so I have been fairly inactive on all my threads on this board; however, today I am trying to play catch up. So bare with me if this is a little long.

First of all I love all the quilts that are being shown off. I only have step 1 done so far. Gee, maybe I should be sewing instead of being on my computer.

Lynnie, I really like how you finished off the quilt in prairie points.

Tlambing, I also like the change that your friend made to the pattern. What a great look. I may just have to copy that one. I also really like your 6th mystery. It turned out beautifully.

I also like the way the scrappy versions turned out.

I have a long weekend over the Thanksgiving holiday. Think I will make it a priority to get my mystery done.

I'm still out here! Got caught up with other projects, but one of my tops is done, and I'm finishing the assembly of the other. Will post pictures when they are done.

All the finished quilts have been lovely--What a fun mystery.

On another note, I gave my MIL and a retiring friend one each of MQ #6 this month--they both loved them! Thanks again, Judy, and thanks to all the fellow passengers of these train rides.

There are some beautiful quilts resulting from this Mystery. I have saved it for future use. Love to watch the progress on these Mystery Train Rides.

We both ran out of some fabrics but with a little thinking on both our parts....we came up with suitable substitutions that worked out fine!!
