After much agonizing and sketching and throwing out those sketches, I have come up with the scrappy for the January mystery quilt. In fact, I finally narrowed it to two ideas, so I picked one, and then maybe #9 will be another scrappy! And for those of you who wanted to know what is needed, you will need the following:

dark, medium, light, bright and neutrals.

So start sorting those scraps and get ready for the fun in 2 months.

* * * not two months anymore...twenty days....mark those brand new calendars !

I don't know how many scraps I'll need, but I'm going to be on this train. I'll bring the pecan pies!

I have so many scraps and small pieces of yardage (under .5 yard) I think I'll wait for the first clue to decide which ones to go with. For sure, there won't be a shortage.

Looking forward to ride #8. Need to sort my scraps yet. Maybe I will take them with me over the holidays as we visit family.

I still need to finish #7, but I am hoping with the time off I have over the holidays I will be able to catch up.
