Judy said to press to the dark side. With both being mediums it probably doesn't matter. Lynnie, I love the Christmas ones too. If you have the fabric and the time you should do both. You can always lay it on the back of the couch during the holidays. or make a table cloth out of it.

At first Judy said to wait since later on there will be instructions as to which way to press, then she said to press to the dark so we could square them up. I decided to go ahead and press -- I can always finger press the other direction when assembling if necessary.

I also had a lot of Christmas fabric I bought at the thrift store. I figured it would make a great Christmas gift. I always need an extra gift for that last minute christmas party we get invited to.

My large florals (border 2 and Border 3); I was planning to use as boarders to enlarge the quilt after the basic mystery was put together. Do you think the other fabric will work, or should I re-think my project with totally different fabric? By the way, would batiks work for this mystery?
