Ok, I had to make a switch of the D fabric due to not quite enough of the original...plenty of this one! Love the sparkley stuff, a bit hard for pressing, but worth it! Got my step 2 finished just in time for tomorrow's clue. Mine will be for a reunion we always have (Air Force Security Service people that were based ANYTIME in Misawa Japan) every June...it will be raffled off. Some are as far back as the 1950's...it's a large group now. I have the patch enlarged to applique for the backing...just needed the front & this turned out to be just what I needed! Thanks Judy.

I was looking at the pumpkin cake recipe and wondered how on earth she could tell what type of pumpkin was used in the can! Was so impressed with her pumpkining skills LOL

However, the painted pumpkin is darling....I had to scroll back and see just what I missed since the cake mix didn't have a quilt painted on it!

Thanks for the laughs...I've got a cold and have just been stalking for awhile.... Those "thumps and bumps" you hear on top of the train are me when I lose my grip and tumble about like a pumpkin in a wagon (yeah you got the right picture in your mind)

Still have decided if I'm going to swing in and grab a seat or just continue to live vicariously through you.

Lynnie, Mary and several others wanted me to come and join in. I know that I'm a little late but will try to catch up. But, I am having a problem with my fabric. I've picked out 3 and can't decide what else I can use. I will need to go to Joann's and pick up more fabric. The sacrifices we make! Judy and everybody, I need help. The third fabric in the picture is what I will use as my "C" fabric. I love that fabric. It has some nice gold through it. I haven't decided where to put the other two. Now, I was thinking maybe a nice light brown would go good. What colors would you suggest? HELP!!!

Looks like there is a green in there. That would look nice with the brown along with what you have.
I can't find 5 fabrics from my stash to use. Guess I will be doing 2 clues this week.

It's already morning here, but I have to wait til 5.00 pm for the clue...

I'll have to amuse myself til then by going to a quilt show with a friend, yay.

Today's motto is: "I can only buy it if it's on sale!" Repeated at regular intervals lol.

Cheers, K
