Deecee - your star is beautiful! That stripy gold fabric is really nice and perfect in your block.

Irene - nice star! I love how the blanket stitch really sets it off.

I am behind the 8-ball this week. I was trying to get ahead, but I ended up falling further behind. My last day of work was Friday and we're getting ready to leave for Italy on Monday... Then when we get back, moving to Florida. After this week, it may be a few weeks before I post again.

I do hope to get a few blocks done before I leave though! I will post what I can before I disappear for a while...

Wow, Lara, You do have a lot on your plate. No matter what blocks get done or not, be sure to pack your camera and sunscreen. Italy should be very nice this time of year. Enjoy!! We'll still be here when you get back, lol...

hugs, Jup

Have a great time in Italy Lara and I hope everything goes smoothly with the move.

I hope you can get some blocks done so you won't get too far behind. But we WILL understand if you have other priorities for a while.

I got my 6" Blazing Star done last night. That was a bit of work, but it turned out nice. I hope to get the 12" done today.... Photos soon, I promise!

I hope you don't mind me adding an additional photo. This week I started in the Boomerang 5 Block Swap. Shaysmema sent me the large floral print. I made it up into a Nosegay Block! Cool, right?

Jupiter your Blazing Stars look stunning!

Shaysmema will be thrilled with your Nosegay - what a great block to set off her floral and I love your co-ordinating fabrics (especially the stripe).

Thanks! I've had that stripe around for awhile. Its a left over from another project. I just love those colors...
