I think the August blocks are my favorite. Everyone's blocks are beautiful! Makes me want to try paper pieceing again.

Ok, I am Linda come Lately... this is my first month doing the block of the month. DH has my sewing table in his workshop while he tries to put the finishing touches on the sewing table he is replicating. Hope to get sewing tomorrow. I love pp. Everyone's blocks look great! I love the warm, hot colors.

Anael..........what a precious little sewing partner that you have there!! :D I have one too & she loves to sit right next to my sewing machine, while I am trying to sew. She thinks I can just sew right around her!! What would we animal lovers do without our little partner's? Thank you for sharing your fun picture today. I hope you get to sew soon. I just love the three fabric's sitting right behind your baby.

Whew! Not my best work, but I am done and it is not Sept. yet! I only used 3 colors so mine turned out a little different - I just didn't have time to go to a LQS for another fabric that coordinated with what I had. My LQS is not so local... Thanks for all your kind comments! I think my block looks like some sort of American Indian symbol, but I can't place which one. My grandmother was Am. Indian - I wish I could have learned more about her culture before she passed. (I am the only one in the family that got all recessive gene traits from my father- I look Irish instead of Am. Indian - the rest of my family looks Indian!!! I was always so jealous!)
Maybe I should do a quilt with Indian symbols in honor of my grandmother. I named my vintage Singer 201 after her...
