Well I had to take another picture because I couldn't resize the first picture but I could this one. Yeah!!!!

Oh, your block is sooo pretty! Love your fabrics...seems like a lot are choosing blue fabrics.

Those ice skates are so perfectly fussy cut! And they are sweet in that pattern. I love them, haven't seem that great fabric.

Your block is really pretty, urgodschild2, I love the colors. I have one quarter of my block done. I love paper piecing but it takes awhile to get in the groove...espeacially with big angles. I seem to do better once I remember what to do and get in that mind set. Your block looks very nice and doesn't look like you struggled.

urgodschild yours is so cute. cute fabric.

I had found that one. It didnt look like the snowblossoms pattern to me, just a practice exercise. Thanks for clearing it up for me though. I thought I was going nuts! I haven't tried any yet as I am in the middle of a St. Pattys Day table runner but hopefully I will get to it soon. Everyone has been so helpful and the blocks are BEAUTIFUL. I may have to make a trip to the fabric store. I think I will practice with some of my "random" fabric first!

Thanks again EVERYONE and you too Andii for your patience!

I was going to ask how you are doing, Mona, so I'm glad you already answered.:o I would definitely practice on scrap fabric first if you haven't done any. It's not hard it's just getting the angle right. I cut out a big enough piece for the angle(I think)but when you open it up after pressing it it goes the wrong way! I'm just telling you this so if you have a hard time at first, it's normal! Back to my second quarter.

Oh yes, you are right Andii. I still get those angles going the wrong way at times. And those smaller stitches are not so easy to pick out! I had to learn PP last year when doing the Stars BOM! Someone mentioned to sew them 1st with a basting stitch, that way if you have to pull them out they are easier, then go back if they fit and use the small stitch.

Jeanie good idea. I also lay the fabric over space and flip it back and sew.
