Here's my Weeks 15 and 16. Looks like I'm going to be at least a week behind for the duration!

No offense meant Gus, but could it be your computer? I know at times mine acts up, throws the cursor in weird places! JMT.

Hi everyone. I am reading this post regulariy and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of your blocks. Once we buy a house in this new city and I set up a sewing room I will join in again. I really miss being able to sew along with you! All of my fabrics are in boxes in a storage room and I miss them! Take Care!

No offense taken dakotamaid - I understand there were some general problems with the board this past weekend and that made it more frustrating. I've not had this problem anywhere else and have spoken on the phone with a few members and know I am not alone with the curser and some other problems. The part that is perhaps most frustrating is that it is totally random. [Like when you bring in your car and it works fine for the mechanic or you simply can't say what causes a problem.] It will get figured out. Have had a full plate having to complete two twin size quilts for my DDIL to take to TX with her Thursday while I was sick this weekend :(
Will post pics when binding is on and I have breathing room.... gotta go!
Gus

Gus, thanks for the tutorials. I really like your blocks.

Spartan...nice job on your blocks...so fun to see them quilted with the sparkly thread. Your C-8 is outstanding!

Fraew...so glad to see you back again..I have been missing your beautiful blocks.

KatyBob...don't even worry about being a week behind with all those beautiful blocks you are sewing. They all look terrific. ...and here you are making 2 quilts! wow!

I just purchased the book Dear Jane and I am guessing this is the board for devotees..........please PM me and direct me on how to reach you on a regular basis.........I would like to order the DJ software to make creating these blocks a bit easier and I would also like to make them a bit bigger as I am really not a miniaturist......am I breaking a cardinal rule by doing this??????Any advise would be greatly appreciated...thanks all

Welcome Geri B
We are not purists here. Do whatever color scheme you like, make them a little larger, smaller, whatever pleases you.

I am making 5 1/2 inch blocks -- the software re-sizes them for you to whatever finished size you want and keeeps the 1/4" seam allowance.

I've been thinking of making some favorite blocks bigger into place mats
