i haven't been to bed yet and it looks like i won't be sleeping because we have to leave for a friends house in newport RI at 9am.

we're going for the day to a christening.

Maybe you can get a little shut eye on the drive. I'm going to get my car started so I can start that 50 mi drive to work. Have a safe drive.

I so wanted to do this and now it looks like I will be unable. My computer won't even recognize by CDrom so I can't load the software. What you've made so far is beautiful, but a bit intimidating, lots of pieces and precision.

Maybe I can catch up later on, after I figure out this stupid computer.

The background will be black... I've been collecting batiks for years so I have a tub of them! Crazy as it sounds I sometimes have a hard time in using my fabrics. I like to admire them!

I'm with you on having a hard time. I have about 26 different yardages of batiks I have yet to cut into. I'm going to try and cut into them this weekend. I'm going to make a few family members Fun&Done lap quilts.

i had the same problem with mine and went to bed heartbroken. when i woke up i turned on my computer and thought "i'll give it one more try" to my amazement it worked. hope you can get your's working
