My DM is still in the hospital but she should go to Health South tomarrow or when ever they have a bed for her. She is getting better & better each day just very slowly. I seem to be in a time warp. Life goes on outside of the hospital & Health South but life is at a slow speed inside.

Glad your mother is doing better, Bev. Life does seem surreal when you are in the hospital. Whenever my hubby is in I lose all track of time.

lovely, SBG, lovely, indeed! Thank you for sharing. I have goose bumps just looking at all your lovely fabrics, etc.

Hi Everyone, I've been reading , just not writing. :(There've been some bumps in the road at my house these past two weeks that I've been dealing with...

SBG, the song is The Anniversary Song..Al Jolson made it very famous years ago... Love your stash and I too have some of the same pieces..:)

Glad to hear your Mom's doing better Bev.. I did rehab at a Health South facility when I had my knee replaced. Great place!

QNS, it must be nice to have a neighbor with the same interests...I know what that's like in NC not her in NJ...We may be selling NJ sooner than I thought..Looking in DE right now..

Ok, Show us the magic you make with your little pieces...:)

Don't forget to turn the clocks back an hour tonight before bedtime....

Have a good weekend. H.

Wow Bonnie...what a haul...Love the chair fabric....I have a thing about chairs...have over a dozen small ones I use to decorate with....

The little blocks are a big commitment...not sure how long it will take...hope to get the blocks all cut out this weekend...gotta dash...MrOK wants to go out tonight...wish he would've mentioned it earlier.....

Deep breaths... Oh my, you've got it bad! Maybe you need a road trip to Batesville Arkansas.

Now I'm trying to deal with where to put all this new stuff. Argh. Reality check.

My dear Anne, I'm sorry there are problems at home. Hope things turn around soon for you.

Thank you for telling me the name of the song! Isn't it cool that there is a ballerina doll that plays it out of her back, so she can dance to it?

OK, maybe I can find you some of the chair fabric next time I go to Marshalls, if you want it. Actually, there are a couple of discount stores here in Mississippi that sell fabrics from Marshalls, so I might see it sooner rather than later.

You really need two days to shop at Marshalls. And you need strong shoulders and back! The best deals are on the mill ends which are flat folded fabric that is stacked about a foot high or more... tons of it! If you don't want to miss anything you have to lift those stacks and flip through them... tough work for shoulders and back. I'm always sore the next day. Fabric plundering at Marshalls is not for wimps, nor the faint of heart! :D

Most of what you saw in my photos was from those piles of mill ends. They also have a $.99 table, and anything with any kind of misprint or streak on it goes there and sells for 99 cents a yard. Hey, you can cut around those streaks! I got some good stuff from that table too.
