Sewbizgirl, its posted by Honchey. Go for it. I am not ready, the blocks are cut out and my sewing machine is broke down. Have to rethread the 750 to sew on that one...not ready to do that yet. Too tired from yesterday.

Oh, thank you QNS. Sorry you are having machine trouble.

I am so glad that ya are gonna stay & visit w/us JuneBillie!

We are in Brady. We brought the deep freeze, the washer & the dryer. We also brought the new headboard I bought for $35, & some under-bed bins of fabric.

Dublb, sounds like you are getting closer to have moved most of your household to Brady.

I threaded up the 550 Bernina, changed the tread to light beige, changed to foot to the quilter foot number 37. Got smart and used by seam ripper magnifier lens to thread the needle, worked so well that way. It has better light to see by, so no big hurry to fix the older machine right now; I can still move onward on the projects. Bucket list keeps growing faster than I can sew...:o Nice to stay home and work in the quilt room! Nice to have s spare sewing machine...onward on that bucket list.

Great for you Sue! It is so nice when we get out machines working!

Just thought I would say "hi" quick...life hasn't changed too much...still just as busy as ever....sewing mostly just on the weekends. One of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer about a month and a 1/2 ago. The vet made it sound like she would go quickly, but she is still hanging on...may live up 6-9 months. She's taking 3 different pain pills 2-3 times a day so I am thinking it will be less than the 6 months. Last week we got a new puppy...we didn't want our other dog to be lonely when Ginger dies.

I have one of the arrow quilts I am making sandwiched and ready to quilt this weekend. The top for the other one is done and ready to be sandwiched. My goal is to have both finished by the end of May before outdoor archery tournaments begin. I also have a binding to put on a quilt for a friend. I haven't decided for sure what I will work on next...if I want to work on something started or start something new...I have plenty to choose from in both categories. :)

dublb - It sounds like you almost completely moved into the Brady house! Is your other home sold, or just on the market?

I would someday like to work on a civil war quilt. I love the look of them. So many pretty quilts to be made. I am still working to finish a baby quilt for my nurse at the clinic. It's thicker with the batting I used which is more puffy, but she said that was perfect, because she wants to use it for her babies turning over exercises. I made some of the blocks white with hand embroidery, and alternating with pink little kitty print. I am hand quilting it. I didn't have a big hand type hoop for much of it, but now I have a couple of moms. I don't know if they will help me now or not, but I may use one. When I get it finished I will show you girls a picture. First baby quilt I ever made.
