Anael I am thinking of you and your family, may they have the best doctors to help guide them with their decision

My DS just called. The decision of what to do is made by the doctors so that's a relief. They're on their way home now, tomorrow they will have to go back. They're not going to have triplets, that's absolutely sure now. The little one is having more and more problems but they can do a procedure where the other twin can survive so they might still have twins. So we're happy and sad at the same time. Tomorrow will be a very difficult day as the doctors have to put the little one to sleep. That's very hard but it's the only way his brother can survive. So my heart has to say goodbye to a grandson I'll never get to know.

Group {[(hugs)]} in the virtual RV for Anael...hard decision to have to make but they can move forward now. Hopfully , all will go well from there. Keeping all in our prayers. One day at a time.

Good luck, Mirabelle, finding the right matching fabric again. I have been trying to get a quilt calendar here in Mo., from Oregon, Grandma's Attic, since the 19th of November...decided its coming by Pony Express...they have even sent the second one at no charge...still waiting for delivery. It came!! One copy.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa Sue made it to the Iowa PO and the seven packages are on their way...by Friday or Monday you all should have your package! I had them marked "Fragile" so hoping the cookies are not all crumbs when they arrive. BEWARE of the Reynolds wrap no stick package with the brownies in them....they are very rich. A little willl go a long way... on top the powdered sugar was was with whipping cream!! In the center of the five kinds of cookies is a surprise!! Happy Holidays to everyone. Hello All!
First of all ... I really wasn't AWOL! :) Rather, I was out of town working yet again. This time an easy round, as just had to attend some meetings, observe, learn, and be somewhat social. Even manage to check out a couple of LQS' on the way home. Then once home, a lot of stuff to do to get back into "life" here! The good news ... I have the office almost wound down til the New Year, other than some minor must-do's that won't take a lot. Christmas is well under control ... except for a couple of gifts I need to make. And that means, soon .. I can actually get sewing those gifts ... and then my PC BBs. I know I've been tardy getting back to this thread, but knew it was a lot of reading to catch up and got that done this afternoon. Then amidst all the joy and good things, I see some extreme sadness with our fellow PC'er.

Anael ... oh how heartbreaking for you, your DS and DDIL. Tears poured out as I read each of your posts and now today's. I hope that you were able to see and {{{HUG}}} them today. So sad for all of you to say good-bye to one you have not known, but have loved and will keep in your ♥ forever. I wish I could give you some {{{HUGS}}} myself, right now too.

DublB ... So sorry for your loss and let those tears come, as with tears, comes healing. What an honour to your DMIL to want to emulate her DMIL kindnesses. It's so nice to hear/know, as so many MIL's do not get the D tag!

Anael--sorry for the sad news, praying for the other babies and Mama that the rest of the pregnancy is uneventful.

QNS--you sure have been busy!! Being in Iowa myself, maybe I will get some yummy treats sooner. :) I told the kids if a box comes in the mail tomorrow they can not open it. LOL

Ggal--I don't think I posted on the other threads, but wanted to say that your finishes are great! As far as a quilt you just don't like, I haven't had that, but I have a couple that are close to being finished that I just can't make myself work on. Not sure why I am "stuck" on them. Hope you can someday "like" your blocks or like Jan said, give them away to someone who does.

I have my PC Bonus sample block just a couple seams away from being done. Just one change to make on the final blocks, but I am very happy with it. I work tomorrow. Thursday I should be able to get all the fabric cut, papers are already done, so then I can sew. :) I might even share a picture.
