Didn't notice the off kilter dots until you mentioned it. I think that if it bothers you, you will be having a date with Jack (aka the seam ripper).

Now I can see the picture too. Beautiful blocks Doghousemom! I can see why it's going to bother you but I think when your quilt is ready and quilted you won't notice it anymore.

I'm working on the big block from the 3rd set and having a problem. The 1" line after printing is 1" but my block isn't going to be 12" finished! With seams it's 12 1/4" at best. So the measurements of the foundation pattern are off. I'm pp the block and using the provided foundation pattern.

Thanks for the heads up on that one! I'll meausure the individual elements before I start this block. If the paper piecing elements are off, I'll probably piece it in the traditional fashion.

So here is the block and the geese. My block finished at 12 1/4" so I have to remember that when we're putting all blocks together!

Anael your blocks are so perfect!!! love the colors and I am just getting ready to do these two blocks :o)

I just measured the blocks on page 2 of Block 12 instructions. With seam allowance included they are 5 9/32 across and 2 7/8 tall.

My 1" line is right on the money with three different rulers.

Thank you so much DoriDeS! Good luck on your blocks ;)

Here are 12 and 13. Wow! They look really fuzzy. Sorry. Maybe I can get better ones.

They look good to me, great blocks and beautiful colors!

Ok ... dumb question time!!

I've never used freezer paper, had to go out and buy some. Not sure if I bought the right stuff, just noticed it say's "plastic coated". Is that OK to use?

Also, when I trace the templates onto the freezer paper, do I trace my pencil marks on the shiny side or the plain side?? Going to be important when I do the school house.
