Quilt Along January 2013

I wish my sister sewed as well. She is a crocheter.. pffft. lol. My grandmother taught us each both skills- I can't stand to crochet, and my sister would rather eat a bug than sit in front of a sewing machine.

A little slow getting started but will do the blocks this weekend. Working on the first 8 blocks for a Civil War Quilt for my oldest GS. and doing a couple other BOM groups. I like to keep several projects going so I don't get bored with them. Will also be using my scraps so it will be interesting.
Have a great Quilting Day.

mommak good job your little sis didnt tell you working with plaids and checks is the hardest beside stripes to work with did she? even if you line up a block its hard hard to match those fabric designs. I am impressed you got yours done. SIS where were you when fabric selection came about? lol glad she got you to join its awful fun in here. I am excited to see where they take us later on. I see chat is lit up so I am thinking ideas are flying! uh oh .. calm down ladies be reasonable with your choices.. and are there men in there? chippendale dancers perhaps? sure seems like a lot of you ran to the chat room.. gotta be something good going on .. better tell all about it later.
