Honchey, I love your Bow Tie blocks! Really cute! I printed off the pattern for the bitty house, but it may be a few days before I can start on them. I'm wanting to add a door at least and maybe a window. It's going to take some math thinking!

O.K., so I have a question? In their layouts, where did the flying geese come from? Did I miss something?

In about the third paragraph of the layout article, she says she's giving us a little hint of what's to come: Flying Geese.

And, Honchey, those bow ties are precious! I thought I had a piece of just about every repro fabric in existence, and I see several I don't have (yet!).

we could always applique the teeny window & door..either machine straight stitch inside to have frayed edges or little zig zag stitch around after the clock is completed.

I was thinking of hand embroidering for the windows and doors and a small button for the knob.

Honchy...I love your bow ties too. Love the repros and the same background. Mine are completely scrap, backgrounds too. I like yours better, but now I have finished my baskets and they are of course scrappy too. Not going back now LOL
I think I will make the 54 x 66 quilt. I counted the blocks and there needs to be 16 bow ties, 16 houses and 12 baskets. I think, anyway. Which size are you making?

Mine is going to be all scrappy too, including the background. I have 7 more baskets to make and then I'll be ready for the April Block. I plan to make a queen size.

Default March blocks

Here are 16 cute little houses. If I decide to go with the lapsize, I'll just use the extras on the back.

Katy I love your houses-they are soooo much better than mine. The doors makes them special.
