Love that song, Macybaby!! Now I'll be singing it all day. Continuous loop! I should get even with you and hum "It's A Small World Afterall..." But I'm not mean...lol!!!

i found a stack of 10" batiks with no colorway. Just a bundles of misc colors the LQS put together and I thought of you, Macybaby. I'm not a fan of batiks but will come up with something. I thought about doing the quilt along on Angela's awesome pattern but I'm trying to stay focused on SBS.

Donna....here is the quilt I made with your yellow fabric... Lol... It's pink flowers but same stuff.

DH is working the air show this week and will be out of the house for 3 days starting Thrusday so SBS and I are gonna kick some patooty...
I'll have some applique flowers considering for border to share with you today.

I'll second that is a beautiful quilt!

I've got my Service Awards banquet tonight, so will be heading out shortly. This is my 15th year so I'll be one to get an award along with the other staff that is having a 5 year anniversary. We have a lot of lifers at work, so 15 years isn't that much of an accomplishment. We'll see if I can make it another ten. I'll be over 65 by then, so I may cut out a bit sooner.

I think I'll be getting back to my SBS this weekend, start putting the sashing on the outer group of blocks.

BTW - I am really bad about getting ear wigs - I listen to the oldies station going to work, and sometimes I'll have the same song in my head for days!

Though one of the worst - when I was learning PP, I watched Carol Doak's vidoe, and at one point she said "think - I am woman" and give it a good pull! Of course, every time I did PP for the next year, I was humming that song in my head.

Lol...Me, too, Macybaby!! Songs stick in my head! Congratulations on 15 years....that is a huge accomplishment! Enjoy tonight...Here's hoping that the next few years fly by for you so you can stay home and quilt....*high five*

Here are the applique flowers I designed for border. I will make these is a variety of the fabrics that are through-out the blocks but the dark blue petal one will be the primary color combination and reverse the fabrics and so on.... I really like them...I'll be framing the blocks with 2 mini borders...not sure what colors yet....probably yellow and the dark blue fabric. These, of course, are turned edge and will be machine appliquéd how I've shared with you all.

Teen great job on the flowers. This quilt sure is going to be a show stopper when you are finished.

Congrats Macybaby. I think 15 years is quite an accomplishment!! I do hope you get to retire when you want to. Enjoy tonight.

Teen - I love the quilt you posted - those are my kind of fabrics! And your applique flowers are beautiful - what a gorgeous quilt you will have. I too thought about joining in on that scrap quilt-along, but will save that for another time after Sylvia is all done. And Macybaby - congratulations on your award. Still focusing mostly on my baby quilt these days, but just have to squeeze in a Sylvia block or two.

DonnaPea, Great job! Your colors are beautiful. I'm glad you were able to squeeze in a couple of "you" blocks. Keep adding in a block or 2 and before you know it, you'll be done. You'll be shaking your head wondering if you are actually done and ready to put them together.
