Since this is a small project I think I'll join too. I'm going to do a controlled scrappy in pale green and purples. I had the scraps cut already so I'm good to go. I should have plenty of similar fabric in my stash or other scraps to make larger cuts if/when needed.

Like your controlled scrappy fabrics. That seems like a great choice.

Foxflower, this will be very pretty. Love all your fabrics you showed us. (In case you didn't know, purple/green is about my favorite color combination lately.)

Not sure I done this right the first time? Count me in on the Mystery Quilt Train BOM. Already got my 6 colors out of my fabric I had on hand. When I get one of my kids over I will have them help me post a picture. Miss Fay

Judy, I'm so glad to have your seal of approval on the colors--more security in knowing it'll turn out! I'm looking forward to March for the next step.

I did some shopping today and am ready to join in. Here are my fabrics, A-F. You know, it isn't as much fun buying fabric that is already coordinated, but there it was, and with 50% off it was an easy choice. I'm really liking all the colors people are using. Name: 024reduced.jpg

OK. So I probably don't need another project to start right now, but I do need to make a baby quilt anyway, & you said this would be good for one right? I'll have to check my stash, or make this into a completely scrappy, no shopping for me right now-count me in for my very first mystery quilt. I doooo soooo love a mystery!!! BTW-I love all the fabric choices I've seen so far, hope mine will compare!

Just go to your local Joanns . It's in their featured/showcase/something quilt fabric that's 50% off right now. I got all that and a couple more for about $10.

Of course you need another project! I just did this mystery in baby fabrics for a charity I sew for. It turned out too cute.

All right, now I have to admiat that I am totally surprised at the response that has generated to the Mystery Quilt. I just went through all the postings, sent a few PMs and to answer a few questions from the early pages that I missed, and took a count. I cannot believe that we have, as of right now, 53 people who want to do the mystery! And there are 11 more that said they might do this. Wow, is all I can say. I'm having such a good time, hope you are too. And I may just start to make a new mystery to start in a few months!
