I can get my hair cut for 10 at a cost cutters on Tue in Ne stylist is very good but when I am af home cost cutters at walmart with tip cost 28 and it was the very worst haircut of my life. I know a very god shop in Olathe Ks where the stylist has her shop in home she still charges 8 dollars and gives outstanding cuts but I hate to drive the extra miles to get a haircut by the way this lady refuses all tips or any extra for her servises

I have found that the 'chains' - Mastercuts, HolidayHair, Supercuts typically charge less than smaller more local styling salons. I have also seen that the chains have much more turnover than the smaller salons, so I would expect it would be harder to develop a following. Doesn't account for cost, but maybe if you find someone you really like to style your hair, you're be more willing to
pay more than getting a new stylist every time and rolling the dice on your hair style!

I have one of my best friends cut my hair because she does an excellent job. She gives me a $5.00 friend discount so I pay $25.00 plus $5.00 tip for $30.00 bucks. That's cheap here compared to some places I have been.

I get my hair cut every five or six weeks, $32.00. My hair dresser punches out a card at every visit, the tenth hair cut will be free. I like the way she cuts my hair so, it's worth it.

Before I retired and lived in Silicon Valley I used to pay $250 for a cut and color. Now in my small town I pay $50 for a cut every 6 weeks. That includes tip.
