We can't use those mega rolls! Both bathrooms have built in ceramic tile toilet paper holders. The mega's are too big and won't fit into the holders. We bought a package, and had to leave the rolls off the holder until they got thin enough to fit!!

Every medical family member has said they can tell when a patient uses Charmin toilet paper. They always say "I bet you use Charmin" and the answer is always yes I do. LOL Charmin leaves lint!

Back to the toilet paper rolls, I have found that the cardboard roll itself is larger diameter now, too, on some brands, so that saves the manufacturer a bit.

If I remember correctly, we would remove a page, wad it up and and scrunch it to soften it before using. As kids, we never used the toy section, but always left it open when leaving.

We're not supposed to notice when products get smaller and the price continues to go up. What really irks me is when the size of products decreases and it affects food recipes that call for certain ounces, etc.

Graham crackers got smaller. The box is still the same size, but the crackers are smaller and I believe there are less crackers in each packet.
