At 62 I was married half my life and I married the only man in the world who could live with me! I have never regretted a minute of it and I hope he hasn't either. We have been married34 years.

March first will be our 40th. Can you imagine 40 years with the same man? I wouldn't trade it. Some rough years. They seem to have all mellowed tho.

My husband and I are married 34 years. My mom and dad were married 52 years when my mom died. My grandparents were married 72 years and died on the same day. What a romantic story.

Our 46th will be (hopefully) May 16, 2010. It has been a rough row to hoe but we're still here. LOL

We were married 35 years in September and were engaged 3 years. My parents were married for 68 years when my Dad passed away at the age of 93. Was it all easy? No way, but I wouldn't trade my life for anyone elses. My DH is still the most wonderful man in the world in my opinion. He is so understanding of my "addiction" to quilting and collecting fabric. Well, at least he never says much except that what I am working on is beautiful and that he would like to keep everything. I will be very glad to keep him another 35 years or longer.

Congratulations! I used to take it for granted that we'd be married forever, and it seems like we have been - 47+ years. Of course, we were mere babies - - - what did we know? It's a lot of work, but it IS worth it! Especially when the grandchildren arrive!
