=================================

I do think we need to be reporting problems to the powers that be, especially in areas where there is truly false advertising as was mentioned in the mislabeling of cup sizes.

I would like to think that there are still companies who are on the up and up about their products, labeling and pricing. It is up to us as consumers to bring the companies who take advantage of customers to light. If we do nothing these practices will contine.

Ok...off my soapbox..... for now.
A generic response which did not address the original comment, plus an appeasement. Bah humbug.
Yes...that is true....but if enough people bring these types of issue to companies' attention something might be done.

....and take a look at the bottom of some of your purchased jars. In small print it will say the actual measurement which is no longer a full quart (or whatever) and that jar bottom is recessed upward into jar, making an illusion of same sized jar.

Hey GlendaM from Ok, you gave me a real chuckle with the 1/4 shorter comment! Never doubt a quilter's quarter inch! lol Happy stitching everyone.
