Well that was scary..lost half of the shingles of our roof, trees down ,patio set blown 200 yards into the woods and RVs turned over and severely damaged at the lake. My knees are still shaking.
It came so fast ,sun shining one minute next all h%$#@ broke lose our place looks like a bomb went off.
but we are all alright and tha's what is important.....calling my insurance man now.

I know how scary that can be. We had 100 mph winds a couple months ago that really tore things up.

I'm glad you all are safe!

All that truely matters is you are safe. Hug those you love, and remember it is over. Will pray it is end of those storms.

We are getting the storms right now here in Wichita, KS. It's not as severe as what you went through but we do have the strongs winds and quite a down pour. We need the rain so I guess we'll take the winds with it too! Glad to know you are okay and hopefully the damage won't be so bad in the end.

I was just looking at pictures my dad emailed of his Texas acreage. Winds and storm came through night before last and the damage in the pictures looks exactly like what you're describing. Trees down, patio furniture out in the pasture, neighbor's trailer is now an empty chassis. Dad hasn't located his porch light yet. It was ripped right off the front of the house. Please take care and be safe!

Wow, that must have been pretty frightening! Glad everyone is okay. As some on the board have been saying, we need to feed Mother Nature some chocolate!

Thank you all for your caring post. I just love you ladies.
I was suppose to start night shift tonight ,but decided I better take off and help with the clean-up.
there is nothing we can do about the roof until the insurance gets here.
