I've been reading through the comments. I think one reason this is such a great board is the wide range of ages represented!

46 here.....and rising!!!!!! People always give me less - even in my 30's - which really makes my day - but I don't have a problem with age..I just wish that time would slow down a bit so that I can get more done.....

Just turned 74 the other day and so glad to see a lot of us 'older' quilters here. I've been quilting about 10 years and love it, family members all have at least one quilt and I do lots of community quilting through my Guild and internet groups that I belong to. Got my college degree when I was 60 and love using a computer and keeping in touch with so many people for friendship, quilting, etc. I'm not too sure I'll be keeping up with the latest technology ie. the new touch methods especially since I really don't need it but who knows. I have 9 grandkids from 9 to 28 and they keep introducing me to the new stuff, like Facebook. May in Jersey
PS. As you can see from my photo, I don't have any grey hair yet, LOL!

One of my favorite memories: Seven years ago I drove my then 15 year old son to a farmer's to work. After the third day, I chatted with the farmer and he was stunned I was Justin's mother--thought I was his sister. I'm not sure that would happen now. I don't have any wrinkles at all, but the grays are coming.

Not me! I am 56. I always think I am a year older than I am so when I hit that age, it doesn't bother me. My husband of 37 years always corrects me.
Besides, you are as old as you feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm 100 other times a kid.
Not only that, I hate my picture taken, but a friend of mine put me in many years ago. She was a model. She told me "In 20 years you will wish you looked like this!" How right she was.

"The Older We Get, the Better We Were" too bad we didn't know then what we know now - we'd have been more confident. And maybe we'd have chosen not to wear those
dumb fashions.
