I absolutely love copper cookware, but dont have any - its a powerful lot of work. My hubs 1 GM had a huge cast iron cookstove in her kitchen. She cooked on one forever and her family finally got electricity on the farm, so they talked her into getting an electric stove, which she hated , and yrs later she saw an auction listing and made her hubs go half way across the state to get another cast iron stove-

She really could cook with it, too, she made the best baked things. The rest of us using the kitchen always stuck w/ the "modern" stove and stove top. sharet

thats gorgeous. reminds me of my grandmothers except hers was black and used coal or wood.

That is beautiful. I used to tell my boys when they had to learn housekeeping so they could later take care of themselves "It isn't clean if it doesn't shine." It looks like you would agree with that. It is wonderful that you cook, too. :)
