There are a few American Idols I don't hear about anymore. Ruben Studdard? Fantasia? Taylor Hicks? There are a couple I can't even remember the names...

Carrie Underwood has sure done well... as well as the first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson.

I am looking forward to this season.

Taylor is doing live shows, he does well in that arena. He was supposed to release a new CD, don't know if he did. I bought the first one and was disappointed.

Daughtry (Chris) has made fantastic album sales.

I don't know about Fantasia, I saw Ruben has a new CD.

I like what Jennifer Hudson is doing with Weight Watchers. Lots of visibility.

Yes, Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson are doing so very well, especially since neither one won! Just goes to show what Idol can do without winning the thing! I loved Jennifer Hudson in Dream Girls and Daughtry has always been a winner to me.
I had not heard about Taylor Hicks. I bought the first Clay Aiken cd and was disappointed. Oh well...

Am anxious to see if the girls can hold their own.

Oh! Did anyone see Brooke White in the made-for-tv movie? It was called Change of Plans. I thought she was a great actress!

The fifteen year old girl is fantastic! If Justin Bieber can become a star that young, she certainly can be the next American Idol at her age.

I thought the guys were really good, but didn't think the same about the girls. I liked James, Jacob, Casey, Scotty and Paul, I loved Paul he sounded so much like Rod Stewart. The girls I liked were Lauren T., Lauren A., Thia, Pia and aren. And I LOVE Steve Tyler, he is hilarious. And I too thought Randy was trying to be Simon. It's gonna be a tough year, cause they have some really good talent, best in years, IMO.

To bad the girls didn't match up to the guys. No excitement on the girls part. Only three out of 12 should be going on in my opinion. The men were amazing last night. To bad some of the good ones won't get to go on because of the 6 from each sex getting picked. But it should be a excellent show this year. Alot of talent. And it's about time we had a good season. So much for Dancing with the stars this season. Is this the best they could do?

I liked Naima, Kendra, Karen, both Laurens, Thia and Haley. They were much better than I expected. And I left Paul out accidentally in my first group.

This season has gooood talent. I love Steven Tyler as a judge, and yes, I think Randy is picking up the "bad guy" role. They have to have someone that is "brutal".
