I enjoy her very much. She seems only to take a sip now and then. I think she probably makes the quilt ahead of time and shows us just some of the process with the fast forwarding etc - because some of those quilts would take more than a few hours from cutting to quilted final quilt. She does use fusible batting. I don’t spend too much time thinking about how she gets her show done - I just like to watch her and have learned from her. (Echo echo echo - and don’t rip out blood - they will not be noticeable on the types of quilts she makes - and the kind I make)

she was recently the presenter at our guild meeting--a really upbeat, fun quilter! She was asked if she really made the quilt in one night (no, lots of prep work ahead of time) and yes, sometimes she does have a glass of wine--which she basically sips! As she would say, Done is better than perfect!

I love watching her, too. I have always been in awe of her being able to be a mom all day and then sew late at night after her kids are in bed. I could never do that even when I was younger. Now I'm in bed by 11 almost every night and wish I had been on the few nights I'm not.

I love watching her too ... but, while I would love to indulge while quilting, NO WAY do I let myself have a glass of wine, especially red wine, in the room with me! It would undoubtedly get spilled and ruin my project!
Now, M&Ms ... that's another story!
