I watched all 7 episodes. I really felt sorry for Elanor.

We watched the first three and enjoyed and have the rest recorded for when we get home - we are at one of our son's now. We did take more then 3 sittings but that's what DVRs are for. And weren't teddy and Eleanor and Franklin "lookers" in their early years?

I recorded it from the start and haven't had a chance to watch any of it yet. Knowing each episode is 2 hours, I put off even starting it. But from everyone's response, I'm eager to see it. I enjoy interesting people in history and these three are definitely interesting.

Totally informative, interesting, and wonderfully done. But Ken Burns always does his series with expertise.

I love Ken Burns' work. I have really enjoy this on the Roosevelt's. FDR went from being a selfish young fop, to someone I could really respect. I've always respected Eleonore.

Yes, both FDR and Eleanor were much better looking when they got married- she did not age well. Teeth braces would have helped her a lot. But, I noticed in a very late picture of her that it looked like she may have had false teeth and she looked much better. FDR was surely a great president but a bad husband.
