When I have times like that which is pretty often lately, I take a break. Sometimes I sew something other that a quilt, like a chair cover for my sewing chair. And now I make pillowcase dresses and bloomers for my granddaughter. I, also, love cooking (making fresh bread is my favorite). And then, sometimes, I lay on the couch all day with my 70 pound boxer right next to me. That always seems to help. Hang in there this will pass soon and you will back to doing what you love.

I haven't had this problem yet, I worked for the last 23 yr.s and got very little time off and did housework, laundry etc. on weekends.
I retired June 2nd and trying to get a normal for me, doing pretty good so far, I watch Highway to Heaven (love those 2 guys) reruns for a couple of hours before I get started about 10:00AM on anything else. I still get up early to stay somewhat on track.
I hope you get back to the fun things soon.

Hang in there. I'm sure it will get better. We all have times like that. Sometimes I just don't want to sew so I read and eventually something perks my interest again and off I go.
