Boo- yes, the language was fine- what a shock lol And acting should stand on its own. I actually liked most of the acting it in by the way. We just saw the movie differently. I really disliked the ending and never felt like anything worked. It seemed very disjointed to us. But maybe if Mr. Clint had been in it I would have liked it. I don't know but I sure like looking at him :D

Two of my friends went to see Hereafter and they both really panned it - said it was the worst movie they have ever seen. Felt like it was 6 days long with nothing happening. They were asking themselves why they didn't walk out along with about 12 other people. Too bad - his Mystic River was great!

I saw it Saturday and found it weird. I didn't like the ending either. I really like Matt and his work, but was a little disappointed in how he was used in the movie. There were parts that were just boring. My advice to anyone is to wait for the rental! :)

Talullah, I never could make sense of it, and the ending was just plain weird. I thought it had potential but never lifted off the ground :(
In hindsight I think the only reason they used Matt Damon was to draw people in. In our case it worked- we thought Clint Eastwood movie, Matt Damon the star- it's gotta be good.
Oh well....... :)

I agree with you completely! When it was over, I said, "Well, that was weird!" I kept catching my husband dozing during the movie. Kind made you wish that you could get your money back, huh? ;)

This is hearsay but a friend of mine saw it and said it was a snooze and she was surprised that Eastwood had done it.
