I found out yesterday that I have diabetes and doctor said weight loss alone would get rid of it, so I am in.

I think I will try it. I gained 45 pounds in 6 months after my son was killed and I have not been able to take it back off. I turn 60 in June and I am heartbroken over that fact, because I'm told I don't look my age at all. I will use all the incentives of this board to help me with my goal. I love tuning in every day. Let's get to it!!

I have Type 2 diabetes and need to lose a bunch. If I succeed, maybe I can lose the meds, too. I'm in! If anyone else has this problem, let's exchange ideas, recipes, and encouragement to reach our goals.

OK, count me in. I've gained 20 pounds since moving and afraid of Diabetes as well. Gotta start moving! I guess sitting and watching the Biggest Loser doesn't count...
