I love to make aprons and do sell them at Fall craft shows. Never know what will be popular but last year a lot of kids aprons sold. Moms were esp. happy to find them and bought one for each of their kids. I know I price them too low but considering it was a local show and the economy, I ate the loss.My 3 grandsons all have one and my DD got 2. Wonder if it is better to buy plain, add value added emb. designs to them or start from scratch. This year I hope mug rugs are a good seller. We will see.

I do and I wear them every day (I'm a messy cook), but I don't know many people who wear them. They save a lot of extra laundry for me. Has anyone made one with a towel attached???

these pictured are so cute. I made one for yard clean up out of old jeans. i used the seat and added part of the leg opened up as the bib part. i didn't want to use my better ones for the house.

I love making aprons, I especially like making them from up-cycled clothing and things....Mary Mulari inspires me with her up-cycled apron patterns. Here are a couple of mine.

I bought my daughter-in-law one that was machine quilted. I talked to a long arm quilter and she said it would be best to quilt it first and then make the apron. Wish I would have taken a picture of it as I haven't seen any like it.
