We lived in O-Town for 9 years. So, I know it feels colder than the predicted 27°. It's that humidity.
8-)

Cute pic of your daughter and doggie! I really do feel sorry for you Floridians (is that a word?). Here in Ohio we expect it to get cold in the winter and we're prepared for it. I know it's harder to deal with the cold when you have few or no warm clothes or heat in your homes.

Trust me, I have sweats and sweatshirts to keep me warm. I hate the cold, that's why I live in Fl.

Ok, which one of you northerners brought this cold weather to FL??? Hummmmm?

It got to a balmy 10 degrees here this afternoon! Woke up to -10, which was warm compared to what it has been lately. I so dislike this bitter, freeze the snot in your nose, cold!

Well, the temperature sure has dropped again in South Florida. This morning it was 35. It doesn't sound cold but when your warmest outerwear is a sweater and the only close-toed shoes you own are sneakers....I think it's time to go shopping for something warmer.

They had to close the Sarasota airport for a while because there was no de-icing equipmemt. In Naples, the iguanas are going dormant from the cold and falling out of the trees like coconuts!

Enough already!

The Orlando airport was waiting for the ice to melt this morning too. It seems warmer today since the wind died down. But just try to buy a pair of sweatpants or a coat around here...they've all been scooped up! On a happier note, I found a pair of socks in my drawer that weren't dry rotted! Wonder how they'll look with my flip flops? LOL!

It'sa blowing your way from the midwest and we will be glad to see it go :-D Is 5 degrees now and going to about 5 below before morning, wind is terrible, have about 3 inches of snow but the drifts are almost to my knees. Challenging out feeding all the critters....can't get the barn door open for the wind. Not fun for man or beast :-D Stay warm everyone!
