Bet you thought I meant a quilt. Actually I just washed the kitchen floor! It is 3 o'clock in the afternoon here in Perth, Western Australia and I had been planning to wash the floor at about 7 o'clock this morning, as soon as my DH left for work. You will never in a million years guess what I have been doing instead. .................. aw shucks, you guessed. Oh well, what's a sticky kitchen floor between friends and you girls are never going to see it and I don't really care if it bothers anyone else. I'd much rather show them my quilts!

I look at it this way - once a quilt is completed, it is there for everyone to enjoy for a long, long time. Floors need done again and again and again. Where's the fun in that?
