Bet you thought I meant a quilt. Actually I just washed the kitchen floor! It is 3 o'clock in the afternoon here in Perth, Western Australia and I had been planning to wash the floor at about 7 o'clock this morning, as soon as my DH left for work. You will never in a million years guess what I have been doing instead. .................. aw shucks, you guessed. Oh well, what's a sticky kitchen floor between friends and you girls are never going to see it and I don't really care if it bothers anyone else. I'd much rather show them my quilts!

I look at it this way - once a quilt is completed, it is there for everyone to enjoy for a long, long time. Floors need done again and again and again. Where's the fun in that?

Thanks for the laugh. I would rather quilt or visit here than do housework anyday.

Great minds think alike. I have been 'thinking' of mopping my floor for about three days. The problem with that is 'thinking' won't get it done. Maybe today, maybe not.

If you take your contacts or glasses off, the floor looks fine.

I finished a small wallhanging. The floor is still dirty, though. Someone else will have to clean.

Thanks everyone, I don't feel so guilty about the floor now. I have to admit tho, even without my glasses, it was starting to beg for that bucket of water. As for the quilt, its going really well. Cant wait to finish it so I can post a picture.
