The scallops that nearly killed me, wrapped in bacon and grilled...the night I ate those wonderful things, I had my first allergic reaction to them...blistering hives that lasted for six weeks...

Probably knowing that I can't have them again makes them more attractive...~sigh~

My mom's beef & noodles and homemade bread with one of her many jams. Everything (including the cows and the eggs to make the noodles) came from their farm and was wonderful.

Wild morel mushrooms.

Strawberries, picked right out of the field, in season in Quebec... No better ones exist.

Oh and the wild ones that are teeny tiny, but sooo yummy!

Apples picked right out of the orchard in the fall around here are amazing too.

Flan at a little home restarant in Honduras, ran by an old grandma about 1000 years old, and her grandchildren. I've had a lot of Flan, but this one has such sweet memories.
