My Mom's cooking... I only hope that someday my kids will say that I was as a good as cook as she was! She died when they were in university so they remember how good she was!

All of these foods sound so yummy! I'd love the mushroom stew recipe. I have numerous favorite foods, but I'm craving steamed blue crabs and oysters right now.

On our last vacation in Krakow, Poland we ate in a place called "Under the Angels" and I ordered breast of duck prepared over a hickory fire. It was the best meal I ever ate in my life! That "dead duck" as we laughingly called it, was better than any expensive cut of beef I have tasted anywhere. Was pleasantly surprise at the culinary expertise in Poland.

Otherwise, since I am from Norway, I have to say that nothing beats a good roast of reindeer with wild game sauce , and of course, home made Norwegian waffles with raspberries and sour cream for dessert.

Freshly baked homemade rolls or bread. My mouth is watering!!

Any cut of pork. Bacon, ham, roast, ribs, smoked... there's nothing better!!! YUM!
