Birds flying into windows. Any great remedies?

attatch strips of fabric A BIT ABOVE the window so it flutters in the wind or hangs on breezeless days. pssst I know you have fabric lol

We have the same problem - and strangely enough this year is the worst! Alot of them knock themselves completely out, while others are "suicide bombers" It drives the dogs crazy!

Put pictures of owls on the windows. I think just the outline would do. I saw this at Science north in Sudbury.

How about one of the 18-20 inch high plastic owls. They are very realistic. You attach it to the rain gutter .OR put it on a poll .

My husband said he saw that same cardinal (don't have too many) trying to walk up the windshield of my car this morning. He kept sliding back down to the windshield wiper and trying again. Had to give him an A for effort but it was comical! He's still looking in the windows but he seems to be the only peeping bird I have around here.

I had the same problem and someone told me to hang sheets of aluminum foil from the curtain rod.. It did help.

You may not like owls, but if you could find a lawn ornament about a foot tall, perch him on a post or even your table on the deck - or someplace where birds can see them - birds hate owls!! owls are preditors of birds - birds will stay away.
