I will probablly give her the sleep over in a few weeks. Its my meniscus getting repaired, supposed to not take long.
Anyway.
I would like to give her what she wants, Mail. There is only 2 family members who send birthday cards and one of them is coming for a visit, so no card.
HAPP BIRTHDAY EMILY !!!!!!!!! hope you get lots of cards.....enjoy sewing !!!!
I am asking if anyone can send her a card in the mail? If you can spare a stamp and even just a slip of paper saying "happy birthday" I would greatly appreciate it.
I will PM my address. It would be a lot of fun, and so exciting for her to get mail from all over! I know it would just make her day.

I am home from surgery! All went well, and Im hobbling around on my crutches.
Mother in law got the privlidge of bring in the mail today. Another full mail box! She got 41 cards and squishes today. That is a total of 92 cards!!!! I have them all in a big box. I showed her the box this morning, shoke it and told her it was her surprise. She got all excited, and asked if it came in the mail. I smile, and told her "maybe" She is coming home in about an hour and a half. Can't wait. will be posting pictures!

Clover didn't you say that you had other kids? I hope they won't feel slighted? If we can do this again for them I am game to send a card...if they are boys maybe we could send squares for you to make them a quilt with too??
Happy Birthday to you sweet Emily!!
My DGD is Emilee..she will be 4 in June..

Hi Megan,

So happy to hear your surgery went well. Hopefully you won't have to use crutches for too long.

How about that....soooo many cards/packages for Emily. I'm happy to hear that so many responded to make her birthday very special.

Looking forward to the pictures.
