Black Friday/Cyber Monday Fleece Sale's Prices
Hey all,
I'm wondering if anyone remembers the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale price for fleece at Joann's or Fabric.com last year? I'm looking for a price per yard on both solids and patterns.
I'm a teacher and this year my students are making the no-sew fleece blankets for Project Linus as a service learning project. They've raised a fair bit of money for the fleece, but I'm trying to figure out how to make sales work to our advantage. I'd love to have enough fleece for every student to make one to donate. I tried looking up the sales prices last year, but can't really find anything.
Thanks in advance!
Beth

I buy fleece from Jo-Ann's for the stuffed animals I make for charity. There is one kind that is really cheesy - it seems to stretch both ways! Please be careful not to buy that. Maybe you could ask your students to watch for coupons.
You are doing a wonderful thing - and everybody wins!!!

Thanks for the info! I do have a tax exempt card and I already have the teacher discount. Right now fleece is 40% off at Joann according to the website. I'm wondering if anyone remembers if it went down lower on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. I'd hate to buy it now if it gets cheaper.
In a perfect world I would love to get the same price from fabric.com because then I could get it shipped to my school and not have to store or haul it.
Thanks everyone!
