I am a 5 to 6 book person at the library. Sometime that takes me away from quilting.

I tend to read mostly books by Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, W.E.B. Griffin's Presidential series. Mostly mysteries. I'm not into romance novels.

I feel the same way! I love a good love story, but in most books the sex scenes are way to graphic! I have stopped buying those kind of books for that reason!!

Don't forget Nora Roberts (she is also J.D Robb)

I like Janyne Ann Krentz (aka Amanda Quick, and Jayne Castle).

I also like Catherine Coulter's FBI Series.

Carla Negger is another favorite. Her stories usually have paranormal in them.

These are just a few of my favorites

If you are in to history, I just finished Flyboys by Bradley and am now using it to teach a class. It is a true account of America's past and focused on the flyboys of WWII. Keep a box of tissues handy. Bradley doesn't pull any punches.

I was hoping someone would mention Jan Karon's "Mitford" books!! I loved them all! She has now started a "Father Tim" series and the second one came out recently. Just relaxing, delightful, and inspiring!
I have also read all three of the Steig Laarsen books starting with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" - also very well written - but COMPLETELY different genre!!!

I've enjoyed all of Maive Binchy's books and have pre-ordered her newest one due out in March, for my new Kindle!

So many books!!! I LOVE to listen to Books on tape and CD from the library while I sew!
