I have always hated math. If I had known I was gonna need it for quilting I might have paid more attention in school! LOL

I lotve math. It always made me feel like I was solving a mystery as I got into the upper grades.

I have heard that males are usually better at math.

Math and I are not friends! I had a tutor for high school math - if it wasn't for her, I'd still be there.

I managed to get through university without doing a math course (found a loophole - did two philosophy courses instead). Then I taught math for 20 years when I taught Grade 4, 6, 7, and 8. Can you believe that! Then they told me I wasn't qualified to teach it when a new program was introduced into the curriculum. Whew!

I think whoever invented the calculator should be nominated for sainthood!

You can always buy a calculator, but you can't buy an artistic brain.

Depends on how many stupid rules I need to memorize.

I did fine with Trig, Geometry, and Statistics, but was only able to pull C's in Algebra and Calc.

Currently in my last required math course, and hate it!

I HATE math and still @ 53 have to "think" about what I want t do etc....I hate it when patterns call for fractions and I want to change it and make it a different size, calculator to the rescue!

I hated math until I started quilting and (since I always change quilt sizes and had to recalculate fabric amounts) using it a lot.... Ended up teaching it to middle schoolers for several years. Calculators ROCK, though!
